Every Container. Every Defect. Verified.
TwelveGuard is not an inspection tool — it is a Large Container Vision Model.
TwelveGuard encodes the deep knowledge of container damage: how it appears, how it is
classified, and how it is measured — from a single photograph.
The model is the product. The IP is in the training. The output replaces the industry's
slow, manual, paper-based process with instant, standards-compliant digital assessment —
from any mobile device, with zero hardware investment.
Billions in Damage.
Still Inspected by Eye.
Every container changes hands multiple times — between shipping lines, leasing companies, depots, and truckers. At each handover, the industry relies on a clipboard, a pair of human eyes, and a prayer that nothing was missed.
Inspection by Guesswork
Manual inspection relies entirely on individual judgment. The same damage gets rated differently by different inspectors — on different days, in different light, after different shifts. Up to 35% of damage goes undetected per walk-around.
No Verifiable Digital Trail
Paper forms and verbal agreements leave no objective record. When disputes arise — and they do, generating an estimated $1–2 billion in annual friction — there is nothing to point to. Rejected invoices, inflated claims, contested attribution: all rooted in the absence of a trusted record.
A Scale Problem with No Solution
With 50 million TEU in global circulation, the inspection bottleneck compounds daily. There is no way to maintain quality and speed with manual methods — and no industry-wide benchmark to measure fleet health over time.
The opportunity grows
every second. Most of it
goes unseen.
From Camera to Report
in Under 3 Minutes
No special hardware. No training required. Any smartphone becomes a precision inspection instrument with TwelveGuard.
Capture
An inspector uses the TwelveGuard mobile app with an AI-guided camera interface. Panel-by-panel prompts ensure complete coverage of all 12 sections of the container — roof, floor, walls, doors, underside. Works in low light. No tripod, no rig, no extra hardware.
Detect & Classify
YOLOv8 computer vision models detect and classify 14+ damage types in real time at 30fps — holes, dents, corrosion, cuts, patches, buckled panels, and more. Each finding is automatically mapped to damage codes using your preferred inspection standard — IICL-6 by default, fully customizable to your organisation's own criteria.
Measure & Report
Damage is measured using a scale reference — dimensions are calculated automatically from the image without any manual input. The result: a standardised digital inspection report with annotated images, CEDEX-compliant repair codes, repair method recommendations, and a cost estimate. All ISO 9897 verified.

AI Damage Detection in Real Time
Watch TwelveGuard identify and classify damage types — holes, corrosion, dents — as the camera pans across a container. Each detection is annotated live, mapped to your inspection standard, and queued for the inspection report.

Built for Today.
Designed for Scale.
TwelveGuard's roadmap follows a four-phase expansion from AI inspection to a global container intelligence platform.
AI Inspection Engine
Automated damage detection and measurement at the point of inspection. Real-time AI replaces clipboards and manual CEDEX coding. This is the foundation — get the data right at the gate.
Equipment Maintenance Records (EMR)
Once inspection data flows digitally, TwelveGuard becomes the system of record — a complete, verifiable inspection history for every container, accessible to shipping lines, depots, and lessors.
SLB & Market Intelligence
With inspection history at scale, the platform enables data-driven decisions for Sale-Leaseback programs and second-hand container valuation — turning inspection data into commercial intelligence.
Container Health Index (CHI)
A global, industry-wide benchmark scoring container fleet condition across operators, regions, and age cohorts. An index the industry can use for pricing, risk assessment, and portfolio decisions. The Bloomberg of container health.
The Conviction
Behind TwelveGuard
"TwelveGuard exists to replace subjective, clipboard-based container inspection with AI-powered precision — building trust and transparency at every handover across the global supply chain."
"To become the digital inspection standard for every container on earth — so that every box has a verifiable history, every handover is transparent, and every dispute is resolved by data, not argument."
TwelveGuard was built from inside the industry. Our founder brings over a decade of hands-on experience across container supply chains in the Middle East — UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan — with direct exposure to depot operations, shipping line dynamics, and the commercial friction at every container handover. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he brings structured, data-driven problem-solving methodology to a problem that has been solved with paper for far too long. Global solution, industry insider perspective.
